John has 50 years experience in the New Zealand and Australian property industry covering ownership, management and development. His involvement began with the expansion of his family's Dunedin construction and property business in the 1950's. After moving to Wellington he continued with further successful industrial and commercial property investments. In 1986 he co-founded the Waltus investment and management group, which ultimately grew to become responsible for the property and corporate management of NZX listed Urbus Properties Limited. John served as a Director on the Board of Urbus Properties Limited until his resignation in October 2004.

Shayne was joint Managing Director of Urbus Management Limited which was responsible for the overall management and operations of NZX listed Urbus Properties Limited. Shayne played an integral role in managing the growth of Urbus Properties to becoming an NZX top 50 Company. He was a Director on the Board of Urbus Properties Limited until his resignation in March 2005. Shayne has 20 years experience in the property industry.
